Gilbert Pinney is a retired manufacturing executive. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Rockford University and an MBA in Finance from Northern Illinois University. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt as well as a Certified Business Coach.
Gilbert led U.S. and off-shore operations in Fortune 500 companies including Molex, ITT, Frito-Lay and Pfizer. Through his leadership, the operations focused on product quality and process improvement as cornerstones. The capstone of his efforts was the empowerment of every member of the team to contribute at the highest level. A significant portion of the team effort dealt with social responsibility and assisting community organizations with time, talent and fundraising. Financial results for each business were exceptional, but customer satisfaction drove new and repeat business, which generated double-digit growth. Gilbert is proud to have experience as a business owner growing a start-up company to exceed $1 million in revenue within 18 months.
Gilbert has three grown sons. The oldest lives in Orlando and is a dentist who graduated from the University of Florida. The middle son lives in Palm Harbor and is a computer engineer who graduated from Florida State. The youngest lives in Clearwater and is a paramedic/firefighter for the City of Oldsmar. Gilbert has six grandchildren, four boys and two girls, ranging in age from 3 to 14 years old.
Gilbert belongs to American Society for Quality and Toastmasters International. He serves on the Executive Committee for each organization to ensure member satisfaction. Gilbert is grateful to bring his experience to his favorite nonprofit organization, ALPHA House, and assist in serving young families.
